ABOUT NATASHA |
I began dancing at age 3 and have continued my studies in the arts every day since. At age 11, I became involved in community theater and my passion for singing and dancing grew. With 13 years of formal dance training and high school finished, I entered an intensive two year theater program where I was trained in everything from singing, dancing and directing, to Shakespeare, improvisation and sword fighting. It was during this program that I began to teach choreography and was asked to represent the department in all dance auditions for new students wanting to enter the program. It was at this time that I first began teaching music, dance and drama. After graduation I continued my education and received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Child Psychology and Drama. It was during my university studies that I created a children's program's that would combine both child development and the creative arts. When I completed university, I performed professionally in theatre, commercials,TV and movies. I have since continued to choreograph and teach children drama, music and dance. I believe passionately in the benefits of the creative arts on our young children and understand the importance for parents to learn how they too can engage their children's creativity. |
