It is very beneficial to introduce your children to music early. It is important, as parents, to give our children as many opportunities to expand their knowledge of the world as we possibly can. Rhythm kids introduces young children to the beauty of music and movement. It exposes them to different kinds of music and helps them analyze it. Rhythm kids helps guide children to feel the emotion in music and finally how to move your bodies with those emotions. Children will be taught musical basics like rhythm, tempo and pitch and will be able to hear and play different musical instruments. They will sing, play games and do crafts. Classes will loosely follow the following structure: |
- sit, stretch and sing - play fun games to get out some of their energy so they will be able to listen and learn - music focus (instruments, singing, listening to music, music theory) - movement focus (creative, dramatic, traditional, and improvisational) - exploration of drama, improvisation and storytelling - cool down stretch and storytelling |
This is a wonderful class to bond and have fun with your child. You learn play techniques that can be used at home. You are enforcing the importance of the creative arts and exercise to your child. You are creating moments and memories |
